The Law Family Homestead is pleased to showcase our Handmade Mother's Day Gift Basket Sale. We have worked on these crocheted baskets through the winter and they are finally complete. My Mother and Sister have both done the lion's share of the work in the construction of the baskets and handmade items contained therein. The three of us have each contributed items to these baskets from our online stores and websites to make these truly unique baskets available to you for your mothers to enjoy. All of the included items are handmade by one of us girls. These Mother's Day baskets, filled with good things, have turned out totally awesome!
Our baskets would be great for the mother who has everything, or one that you want to pamper with items for the kitchen to the bathroom. The items are all color coordinated with each basket and are products that we ourselves enjoy and use on a daily basis.

The following list of goodies are what you will find in most of the baskets. We have left some baskets empty, and put only a few items in others so you will have room to add to the basket with your mother's personal favorites.
Hand crocheted cotton dish cloth/or a spiral dish cloth
A crocheted towel hanger
A bar of handmade soap enclosed in a wool felted soap cozy, with either the word "MOM" or an animal needle felted on. Soap ingredients: tallow, olive oil, palm oil, and lemongrass essential oil
A crocheted nylon dish scrubby; these work wonderfully well on all dishes, even glass, stainless steel, etc.
They also contain a 2-ounce tin of homemade whipped lotion that is great for treating extremely dry, cracked skin, (elbows, heels, chapped hands etc.) and we have had good luck treating eczema with it. They are scented in either lavender essential oil or a green clover and aloe. Ingredients: all organic coconut oil, almond oil, grape seed oil, avocado oil, beeswax, almond butter, and shea butter.
We have also included a Law Family Homestead standby. We have been using comfrey salve for close to 12 years now. With a house full of boys I will never be without it. We have used it on bruises, goose eggs on heads, scratches, scrapes, diaper rash, and pulled muscles or ligaments. I've even used it in the winter on chapped cow teats. I've had diaper rash almost completely disappear overnight, and goose eggs reduced to just a discolored area by morning. My mother made this batch and she has been selling quite a lot of it. Her customers report amazing healing for psoriasis, broken bones, lacerations, carpal tunnel, arthritis, swollen joints, leg cramps, sciatica and more! Some baskets have a 2-ounce container and some are 4 ounces. Ingredients are: comfrey, organic first cold press olive oil, lavender oil, vitamin E oil and local beeswax.
Now - on to these awesome baskets! I have the goodies spread out around the baskets so you get an idea of what it looks like all together. The prices are with each basket. The baskets come with the above items except where noted, so read the descriptions carefully.

Lady Slipper - This is an exquisite basket. It is a lovely shade of pink and white. It is 5 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter with handles. $50
Frosted Plum - I love the contrasting colors in this basket. This is a larger basket at 5 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter with no handles. $50
Lemon Twist - This basket reminds me of spring time with its yellow, purple and white. Lemon Twist is 6 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. $50
Blueberry Eclipse - If you lived in the path of the total eclipse last year this basket might be reminiscent of that event. It is done in purple, black and white and is 6 inches" tall and 7 inches in diameter, with handles. $50
Cream Puff - This is one of my favorite patterns! I just love that slanted puffy look! Luckily we have two baskets with this awesome stitch on them. If you are looking for a smaller basket this one might fit the bill at 4 inches tall and 6.5 inches in diameter. Gorgeous with its peach, mint and white colors and no handles. $50 This one sold just as we got ready to post but if you want one like this, we can get them made:)
Fantasia - We promise you will only find our handcrafted goodies in this basket, no magic. It is gorgeous though with its purple, pink and white design. This basket is 6 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter with handles. $50
Whisper Mist - The coordinated colors in this basket are really awesome when put all together. The wine and white colors make it look elegant. This basket is 5 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter with handles. $50 (This basket has sold since posting, so if you want one like it let us know and we can get it made:))
Rose Petals - Here's a little basket with a lot of class! Done in red and white, with a gorgeous crocheted rose on its side, this little basket is 4 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. No handles on this one and no comfrey salve. $40
Peach Sherbet - This makes me wish for summer. If you're looking for a basket to add some of your own special goodies to this one has some room. It has two towel holders and a spiral dish cloth. This is a bigger basket at 8 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter. $35
Raspberry Swirl - Here's another of those awesome looking slanted puff stitch baskets. This one is done in wine and white, for a real classy look. It has handles and is 5 inches tall and 6.5 inches in diameter. $50.00 This particular one has sold, but again can be made in short order.
Peaches and Cream - This cute basket is also done in that puff stitch but in a vertical pattern, which gives it a cool look. This one is made in peach, mint and white colors, has no handles and is 5 inches tall and 7.5 inches in diameter. $50
Purple Profusion - Here's another vertical puff stitch. This one is simply scrumptious in dark lavender and white. This basket has room to add your own goodies for mom. It has one towel holder and two scrunchie dish clothes. It is 5 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. $20
Strawberry Lace - This is really a one-of-a-kind basket, with a white net-like stitch over a red interior. Quite fancy and elegant. This basket is empty so you may fill it up with your mom's favorite goodies. It is 6 inches tall and 7.5 inches in diameter and has handles. $20
Blue Sage - This one reminds me of the sagebrush in bloom on the Montana prairie. It is done in black, white and a blueish sage color. It is 5 inches tall and 7.5 inches in diameter. It is empty and waiting for your mother's favorites. $20
Storm Reflection - This basket uses the colors of a stormy Montana sky, in its light blue, dark blue and blacks. It has handles and is 5 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter. It is also empty awaiting your mother's favorites.
These are truly one of a kind, high quality baskets. We have sewn our Law Family Homestead product logo on the bottom of this selection of baskets for the future owner to remember and treasure its origin.
